CDL Young Lawyers actively coordinate and run various programs across the country that cater to their specific requirements. The YLD volunteers welcome your ideas and involvement in making these programs relevant and timely – as well as speaking to specific regional needs.

Boot Camp – an annual flagship program for new insurance defence lawyers and articling students.

Virtual Practical Skills – a hands-on practical workshop providing insights, strategies and methods from experienced counsel and service providers. The most recent topic: Preparing for Arbitration or Trial.

War Stories Toronto – a dinner speaker series featuring two respected counsel sharing their unique experiences and providing advice on issues impacting Young Lawyers.

Breakfast Series Ottawa – a regular morning gathering of Ottawa-area Young Lawyers, with a topical speaker.
