Can motorists be jurors? Kapoor v. Kuzmanovski reaffirms jury impartiality in personal injury actions
In this personal injury action, the Plaintiff brought a motion on the eve of trial to exclude potential jurors who
drive and pay for automobile insurance due to an alleged inherent conflict of interest. The motion was dismissed.
This audioconference will analyze and provide commentary on Regional Senior Justice Daley’s decision, based
both on his consideration of the Juries Act and the evidence sought to be relied upon by the Plaintiff.
