Canadian Defence Lawyers is a strong voice for the Civil Defence Bar across Canada, addressing governments, regulators, the courts and broader Canadian society.

Canadian Defence Lawyers – through our Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Public Policy Secretariat, Women’s Caucus and Young Lawyers Committee – supports a fair, and equitable justice system.

In 2023 Canadian Defence Lawyers established an EDI Fund to help provide low and no-cost EDI Continuing Legal Education to members. Members, their firms, and our sponsors are invited to contribute to the fund.
