The Women’s Caucus was established in 2016 to create spaces for women working in civil defence law. Our current executive includes Maura Thompson (chair), Ellen Gowland (vice -chair), Anna Kirovska (secretary), Elka Dadmand (executive at large) and Pearl Rombis (past chair).
We are excited about our 2 signature events for 2025:

• The annual Women’s Caucus Luncheon will be held on June 4, 2025, at the Royal Canadian Military Institute. Our keynote speaker is Fotini Iconomopoulos, a phenomenal trainer in negotiations, who will present on “Negotiating Power: Skills for Litigation and Beyond”.

• The Women’s Caucus is proud to host our 4^th annual Women’s Retreat on October 24-26 in beautiful Niagara on the Lake at the White Oaks Resort and Spa. This all-inclusive weekend event provides women leaders of the insurance defence bar the opportunity for unparalleled connections, exceptional professional development and relaxation.
