This year Canadian Defence Lawyers recognizes the 14th Winner of the Richard B. Lindsay KC, Exceptional Young Lawyer Award. The Lindsay Award recognizes a lawyer within 10 years of call who has made exceptional contributions to; the legal profession in general, jurisprudence in Canada; the Canadian Defence Lawyers and its membership; or service to the community at large.
Over the last 15 years the award has consistently gone to a Lawyer (or Lawyers) who would go on to shape and lead the practice of Civil Defence in Canada. Among the notable winners of this Award are:
